The Role of Insulin Resistance in Diabetes
The evidence is pretty clear at this point that it's better than the tools that we have now. Getting a CGM is going to keep even one out of 10 diabetes patients from being out of the hospital. The macrovascular complications of diabetes are driven by the effects of hyperinsulinemia and insulin resistance. And so, I'm really always struck by the way that we spend so much time and we are so precise about each single glucose measurement.
