"I just wanted it to be like a big version of my own pantry and use it as a way to highlight, you know, or rather make accessible a lot of the farms in the area," she says. "It seems like the kind of thing that upstate is needing is not like the cute this or that, but like a really utilitarian grocery store with a little bit of a point of view."
