The History of Champagne-Louis Rotorua

House of Gruy was started by the Rotorua family in Champagne. Laurent Gruy brought House of Gruy over to America and felt like the, he felt like the best comparison of Champagne-Terroir was Northern New Mexico. He planted grapes there and created a bunch of vineyards but they outgrew that because New Mexico is such a small growing area. Now Gruy is predominantly elsewhere, but I still love the New Mexican grapes.
