Is There a Difference Between Marathon Pace and Lactate?
The marathon nutrition thing is with marathoning in general so interesting to me because I mean people think of me as an ultra runner for obvious reasons. It's like almost the lactate the gap between marathon pace and lactate threshold at that elite level is like minuscule right you know for novices or even going back 30 40 years ago. There's very little margin for error on all sides and that's where I think it it I'm just astonished and amazed by athletes like Elliot Choge who has essentially had one subpar marathon during his entire career but everything else has been a crush crush win win win.
