Turing's paper, Computing Machinery and Intelligence, right, in 1950, set the terms for much of the discussion of AI. He said we can see only a short distance ahead, but we can see much there that needs to be done. And so I feel like, you know, understanding how to make large language models safer is on the right path, he says. GPT Dolly would not have existed without all of the data that we now have on the internet which we can use to train it.
