I think that you've done a pretty good job at doing both. I don't want to have you be so wary that you don't understand that fasting can be a really powerful tool for you. And we need to stop this way of thinking that you could only have one way of doing things. It's okay to have tools in a toolbox. You just need to know when you use those specific tools. So although the big fundamental things like caloric restriction and understanding energy balance are probably the hammer, the nails and the saw and the drill, you can't build the entire house without having detail.
