Can Athletes Afford a Ketogenic Diet?

I'm in contact with professional athletes that are using this from football players to hockey players and baseball players. So I know it's possible to be a very high level. But how long does it take your body to adapt to it? It took me maybe at least two months or so to get back, get my performance back to where I was before the ketogenic diet. The feedback is about two or three months. Over the course of a year, you're still getting adaptations.
