When delivering a message that goes against your core value system, be honest with yourself. Be transparent about how you're feeling and where it might be causing you some angst or some stress. There's no right or wrong; I think it really depends on how do you think it's going to impact folks on the other side. And for some people, it will make things worse for them to hear that their leader is like stressed out or doesn't agree or is tired. For others, it'll actually help humanize it. It'll make it better.
