Triathlon Training - Is There a via to Maximum?
My thresholds in cycling as well as running are underdeveloped compared to the via to max. How should I go about structuring my training year to get the most return on investment? My lack of speed might call for a polarized approach with lots of top hand work coupled with low intensity volume during the base phase. On the other hand since via to is not the limiter in my case I might be better off with large block of threshold and sweet spot training also far away from the race season.
