Is There a Problem With Artificial Sweeteners?
The Israeli data showed that sucralose, saccharin and aspartame derivatives also like Neosane, Neosulfane, and asosulfane are the culprits. It's still odd to me that three unrelated compounds just share the property of providing sweetness, but they're unrelated compounds. The natural sweeteners like Stevia, mung fruit, alulose seem to be fairly benign. And alulose even may have some beneficial effects.
