How to Stop Stress Eating
All human behaviour has a purpose, and often that purpose is protection. Understanding why you do something is the first step to then being able to undo it. We find it very difficult to emotionally regulate ourselves when we're stressed. So instead of saying, i am stressed, start say, i am noticing that i am stressed. Is it stress coming from? Is it because you've got too much to do, hence the overwhelm? It could also be standing up in front of people who have left you feeling uncomfortable or worried - this will help you decide what to do next. If your body feels like it's not working properly, take some time out for an easy run before going back to work
