The Limitations of Working Memory in the Classroom
If the first challenge in your class room is to get students to pay attention to you, the next challenge is to really make sure they're paying attention. And it's really easy for students to lose attention. So perhaps you can then plann in shifts in your lesson. That might be a shifting the pace and energy to regain attention. A, you might change a prompt image on a slide, or just y swap activity if you're losing the students at that point.
