Introduction

Lamar Steiger works as a consultant for Walmart and several other companies in the beef supply chain development. Lamar advises ranchers on ways that we can best supply folks like Walmart and other stores with a consistent high quality product, i.e. beef. There'll be some things that we talk about on this podcast that'll make a lot of us maybe a little uncomfortable when we start talking about data and dollars tied to that. But it's one of those conversations that as hard as it is to have and to listen to, it's probably that much more important for us than ever before.
