Most people respond that way. They want to have the carbs or the sugar. Is any amount of sugar good for us or sugar is always bad and we should try to minimize it? So there aren't really any health benefits of most forms of sugar. We crave sugar because if you consider throughout evolution, we needed food. We needed to survive and sugar is a very quick, efficient source of energy. But now we're through this plentiful and in modern society, you can find it anywhere and you can continually eat.
