How to Get Ready for a Race?
The goal is to turn on essentially every system as well as prime the body physically. Ideally, this should be completed about no, you know, 10 minutes out before the start of the primary activity whether it's a race or a workout. And when they have enough recovery, it allows them to feel good and be in a better position come race time. The idea is big breaks in between it's not part of the workout or the race, it's setting you up for the workout, the race.
