Didn't Change the Menstrual Cycle a Whole Lot

Women who were eating 20 to 35% fewer calories and exercising didn't actually change their menstrual cycle a whole lot. What the researchers did observe was a significant reduction in estrogen production. The most common change that they observed was a short luteal phase of 10 days or less.
