Is It Worth to Shorten Acceleration Patterns in the Ase of Every Leg?

A lot of coaches talk about trying to manipulatethe athletes into certain positions on the track based on the faster, faster runners that they have. My thoughts around doing so, my thoughts are that that almost never works. Don't take your least good athlete and shorten their acceleration pattern, because they'll run slower if you do that. No good four by one happens by shortening acceleration patterns. All good four by ones maximis acceleration patterns in the ase of every leg.
