The Importance of Strength and Lean Mass
I seem to compartmentalize all my exercise so I was obsessed with cycling and I just rode bikes for a long time and actually lost a bunch of lean mass which was then disappointing to me as an outcome. Now that I'm pushing 50, you know, I'm sort of done with being a specialist and my goal is to be a generalist but you still have to train specifically to be ageneralist. It's very difficult for me to muster more than 14 hours a week to put into exercise in total,. For me historically that's a very little amount of time.
