What Should Healthcare Providers Know About Cedif, a Seal?
It's a challenge to have patients prevent transmission at home given the likelihood that they're sharing spaces including washrooms. We don't necessarily provide patients or ask patients to use spore-icidal agents when they're cleaning their house. It was important to realize from a cedif, a seal, infection control point of view is that once you have had 48 hours of essentially normalization or beginning of normalization of your stool away from diarrhea, then you're not likely to be infectious or highly infectious.
