Being an ally isn't just showing up when a Facebook event happens, but it's being there day in, day out for students. An ally is a really good listener that then is able to connect and take action. And I like to think of Dr. Bettina Love's definition of a co-conspirator: asking to move beyond allyship and to be willing to lose something.
