Atrial Fibrillation - Is Catheter Ablation a Good Strategy?

Bob Greene: This study and discussion clarifies in my mind the need for trying to decrease the atrial fibrillation burden in all patients. The catheter ablation strategy is a very good strategy, but not a perfect strategy as one still needs to anticoagulate. In our conversation, this now directs me that anyone with new atrial Fibrillation needs to have a management plan developed over that first year.
