Circidian Misalignment During Standard Time Versus Daylight Saving Time
When we set our clock time to a time that is slightly different from the timing of sunrise and sunset, we end up with just a modest circadian mis alignment. So when we shift to daylight saving time, our social schedule shifts earlier relative to our circatian rhythm. And there have been study s that have been done that have shown that people's circuitiang rhythms don't adapt to the changing of the clocks during Daylight Saving Time. This leads to a sleep loss of about 30 minutes per night through the entire season of daylight saving time.
