The Different Rights of Authors in Europe

When you create something, you have basically a moral right to be recognized as its creator. I'm not completely up to date on whether this is also valid for things that wouldn't normally fall under what US copyright is. So if you have this kind of drama on things that are not copyrighted, because there's a thing that those laws have gotten closer to US law thanks to the Berne Convention.
