Inner Critic Isn't Always Mum and Dad

Most of the time it does come from a lack. A lack of needs being met essentially, and we make sense of that lack of well something must be lacking in me. So there is this kind of you know undeservingness where we'll learn to shut off needs or override and control. It's basically just the amalgamation of negative things that we've heard internalized about ourselves. And it feels awful. Physiologically it's this kind of constant feeling of on-edge-ness, nervous energy.
