The trigger nique helps people gather, from a qualitative conversation, the kind of four pieces that really matter. It can be used to use those to design marketing campaigns and ideas. An example is an interview with someone who subscribes to bark box for their dog. The person had previously tried different solutions to appease her dog - including stroller in one hand; gilt on the other: 'Rewhil Si' – but it wasn't working well. And so she got her brother to bring over his dog which was much more effective. She's now looking forward to using this technique when developing new products or services.
