How Many Carbs Should I Drink Before I Workout?

Your body can uptake one gram of glucose per minute. 25 to 35 is plenty and typically for males, 35 to 45 is plenty. But I really don't recommend going over 75 grams per hour because you're exceeding transporter ability. When an athlete's working out, let's say, with their lifting or their grappling, when should they maybe start ingesting that? It kind of depends on how soon your pre-workout meal was.
