Is There an Interference Effect With Resistance Training?

Steve: It's probably smart if you're taking time out of the gym to carry on doing some low intensity exercise which is no very surprise to anyone. You can induce hypertrophy at relatively low intensities like 20% of one rep max provided that you don't do that type of training for too long. While you can get similar hypertrophy to what you get at higher intensities you won't get the same strength training adaptations and things like your bone that you otherwise would because low per se does matter for some adaptations we're talking about.
