The First Level of Resistance to Fear

The consequences of resisting fear are profound and you can only get away with it for about 10 years. I started being burnt out because I was spending all my energy blocking out fear. Other people may start having anxiety disorders or panic attacks before or in the middle of their performance to the point where they want to quit. So that's the first level and it's culturally the norm. Yeah, it's very normal. It's even if you're a big fan of meditation but we've introduced goals to meditation here in the Western world. And so if it's goal oriented meditation then it's just some form of resistance repression can also be the result.
