What Happens When You Don't Grade Kids?

When students are asked to do something just for the sake of it, they'll often pour their heart and soul into it in a way that they wouldn't when it was assessed. When students can see goals clearly, if they see the goal as relevant or purposeful to them, authentic to them, those are the inherent intrinsic motivators.
