The Rise of Anxiety Disorders
Is it that there are actually more people today with a diagnosable anxiety disorder? Only about 40% of them receive treatment. That leads to the other 60% who aren't receiving any treatment at all. I would say that's more likely that the prevalence rate hasn't really changed. And it's just that we are more open.
