Learning From a Student's Perspective
I used to be pretty punitive about people showing up on time to things. In a business context, which is the discipline that I teach in, yes, there are differences. It was out of that in a conversation with a student many years ago that I recognized my own cultural incompetence. And she really, it was a great conversation because she could kind of cold me to count from the family that she is from,. This is just not part of that culture.
