EM Case Summit - The Use and Misuse of Clinical Decision Rules

Rohit Mohindra will be speaking at the EM case's summit about the use and misuse of clinical decision rules. The diagnosis can be tricky to make, the symptoms are variable and overlap with other common diseases. It has some common triggers and underlying corevities such as ulcerative colitis or C-diffecial colitis. Management is usually treatment of the underlying cause. Intervenous fluids and antibiotics and pressures as needed. Disciplines may be indicated but should only be started after consultation with a specialist.
