How to Use Nutmeg in Traditional Recipes
Some people in Denmark don't like cloves because you get a lot of people grizzling about cloves in bread sauce. But for Christmas, we have some very traditional recipes where they have to be in. Too many cloves, it is overpowering. The nutmeg has that umami, I think, that really underlines the flavor as well.
