The Importance of Effort Moralization

In South Korea and France, the harder working person was seen as more moral. This intuitive connection between effort and morality doesn't appear to be a quirk of any one culture. Even the Hadza people in Tanzania show something like it. Any quality which makes you a better cooperation partner is seen as a moral quality.
