The Power of Progression in Workouts

Once you have your tool set up, you can't be a slave to it. So i have the tools, i have it set up in a way that's useful. But then i don't look at it very often in a workout. In an interval, if i'm doing an 800, i might look at it the 400 point, just a check point. But i'm not looking at my watch more than once per interval and once at the end of an interval as a calibration tool. I also encourage athletes to do workouts where they don't looks at t the entire work out periodically, where they maybe cover it with duck tape. That's a mind blowing concept for some people,
