The Origins of High-Intensity Interval Training
High intensity interval training is the origin of high-intensity interval training. The recovery periods allow you to work anaerobically at the beginning of each interval more so now you're really digging into your car stores. These things when done kind of recklessly can potentially run the risk that we talked about earlier where if you are doing too many anaerobic workouts your aerobic performance could start to suffer.
