Avoiding Detachment Behavior

When you're a little baby, your care giver is around. They give you their physical presence, but they don't give you emotional comfort. You get everything else except the love. And then as an adult, in your relationships and friendships, you won't even risk the part that means genuine intimacy and love and contact.
