The Psychology of Bluffing
Broken deals are very common in my world, and it's also very common to have price changes during escrow. Some real estate grinders rely on their ability to get discounts as a source of edge. Just because you know someone is capable of bluffing doesn't constitute proof that they're bluffing in any single instance. So you have to look at the evidence and figure out whether it lands more on the side of bluffing or more on the sides of really trying to get out of the deal.
