How Alcohol Helps Sleep Loss
Alcohol is a neurological stimulant, which means if I look at your brainwave patterns, they will be in a much higher state of activation during sleep. So you've got people using alcohol because it helps sleep latency. It will help me fall asleep by reducing that muscle tension. In the same way as in America, I might get prescribed a diazepam to take that tension away. And again, the addictive capabilities of that. People get addicted to carbohydrate.
