The way a candidate handles themselves after an interview can have a large bearing on the decision making process as well. Interviews ared enough, but worksample tests aret enough - they teach you different things. It is rare for one poor behaviour during an interview to be the reason why you reject someone. But usually, by the end of an interview process, you've got a big old list of strengths and weaknesses. And if the strengths mostly outnumber the weaknesses, and the weaknesses are stuff that you feel pretty confident you can help them with, then you make the offer.
