Training needs to be individualized to the needs of the athlete. We need to establish these zones with you through some form of testing, so that we know what your metabolic response to exercise is first. And once we know that, then we can start shaping the training around it. How re we going to map where we're going to get there? I think that's yme rule number one: First lagme out in intensity before doing anything else. Once we do that, we can start to start to train at a higher intensity and see when it's needed - which for many recreational affleetes will feel very easy.
