There are many kids, there are so many problems that we see in the school system. A third of young people leave school having been branded a failure. There's widespread mental health problems and when we talk to young people they often say that school is part of the problem. We need more opportunities for students to have agency over their learning. That goes a long way towards allowing them to make meaning.
