Today we are joined by Victoria Felkar, Ph.D candidate at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, CA. Victoria specializes in women's health and has done extensive research in hormones and female athletes.
She goes in depth (and we mean in depth!) on the drivers and root causes of polycystic ovarian syndrome, better known as PCOS.
Victoria discusses genetics, epigenetics, lifestyle, and how other cofactors contribute to PCOS, and we begin to unravel this ball of yarn and provide some insight as to where to start in terms of finding the right treatment and care.
