The Effect of High-Flow Nasal Cannula on Patient Comfort
We're not looking for superiority of high flow nasal cannula or CPAP, we're not even looking for equivalents. Because of the potential benefits that high flow has about being a more comfortable, less invasive procedure and also managed better by nurses, what we're looking for is that the intervention is not unacceptably worse than the control. And this, if you look at the pilot randomized trial data, it looks around 16 hours of support. So we had to rule out that it was 16 hours worse than CPAP. We've also got health economic outcomes, so we do look at quality of life, et cetera, but we're not presenting those today's the longer term outcomes
