Backable is a book about how to get people invested in you and what you want to achieve. The author found that it's not carisma that makes a person convincing, but conviction. People take the time to convince themselves first, then they let that conviction shine through with whatever style feels most natural to them. If you don't fully believe what it is that you're saying, no power point slide or hand gesture can make up for that.
