When you look at cancer atherosclerosis and neurodegenerative disease it seems to me that the direct lines of evidence for the damage of hypercorticylemia are most demonstrated in cardiovascular disease. Cancer is probably the weakest realm I would expect that it's playing a role in dementia but again this gets to the layer of susceptibility right there's probably an isolation maybe this wouldn't play a role but in combination with other factors it would.
