The second criteria for recognizing burnout, according to doctor moslock, is cynicism and detachment. The very first symptom that i see of this is a combination of low self esteem and negative self talk. So people who were in the past, generally glass full optimists, and up feeling half glass empty. They're calling themselves realists, but they're being pessimistic. And they just can't seem to find joy or gratitude in life.
