The New Testament Language of Baptism

Not every reference to cleansing with water is a reference directly to baptism, though baptism will recall it. There's lots of sprinkling language too, which ezekiel 36 25 talks about the holy spirit being given, being given a new heart. So what i would say is, when we look to the texts where it's talking about that are often stacked up as proofs of baptism, af regeneration, om many of them, not only are not necessary to read as directly referring to baptism, but they refer to the thing it points to instead.
