The Importance of Understanding Your Partner's Desires
The place to talk about sex is with your clothes on at the kitchen table. Don't have this discussion in the heat of the moment. Your partner can really understand why this is important and interesting, which by the way also means not making their own perhaps inaccurate guesses about what it means. And I've worked with couples that have different interests and they decide that they're going to see those interests elsewhere with complete consent. But you aren't going to match up on everything.
