If Stolicism can address values, I think that's partly why it's able to transform us at a deeper level and a more permanent level. Let me back up and talk about something really simple and fundamental and expand from there. One of the fundamental concepts in all Greek philosophy, certainly in Socrates and in the Stoics, so basic is the distinction between appearance and reality.
